VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2011!!!

VBS this summer was AWESOME!!! We learned all about the INGREDIENTS for living our lives as hopeful followers of Jesus, and spent time SHAKING IT UP!!! Check out all the crafts and ask them especially about their time making food bags for GOOD SAMARITAN AND FPC TO HAND OUT!!! God is so good.

MISSION TRIP IN PROGRESS!!!

The Mission Team in Slidell, LA just emailed the first round of pictures from an iphone for our viewing! We have been assured that there will be many more pictures and stories to come!!!

FREE Pig Roast!
Saturday August 14th

... and we had corn-hole and horseshoe tournaments before hand while the pork was cooking.

Almost 70 people came and enjoyed fellowship including several non-members. A real success!

Pig Roast - Woops, the weather did not totally cooperate! Just before the first batch of BBQ was about to come off the grill it was an all hands on deck emergency operation to secure the tent and plates from flying away in the sudden squall of wind and torrential rain
